Overthinking Is Killing Your Happiness

As a former overthinker, I know that an overthinking mind is hard to stop. But trust me, you have more control over your thoughts than you think.

Overthinking Is Killing Your Happiness | Cultesh, sexual liberation, and mindset mastery for the conscious woman unafraid of her power.

The constant self-analysis, repeatedly replaying what-ifs and past events in your head, will terrorize your brain until you've played out all possible worst-case scenarios.

Exhausting, right?

The facts are that this spiraling thought process will increase your chances of mental illness, disturb your sleep, and magnify problems, creating fear, doubt, regret, and confusion. Plus, if you are creative like me, it will stifle your imagination.

Who are over-thinkers?

Well, you are deeply observant, detail-oriented, and wonderfully empathetic beings. Essentially, you are magickal and have superpowers. But, if you are an over-thinker, you tend to focus on the negative, sabotaging happy thoughts and keeping your mind in a constant state of negativity.

Want to get off the overthinking train and use your deep-thinking abilities for things that light you up and not drain you?

Here’s how:

  1. One way to keep accountable is to examine your thoughts by journaling. Here, you can practice self-awareness when triggered by stress, overanalyzing, angry, or anxious thoughts—allowing you to shift to peaceful, positive, and accepting thinking.

  2. Assume the best possible outcome, even if it feels weird or wrong, which helps remove drama from situations.

  3. Get curious and practice communication. Ask questions if you are confused or unclear. Instead of obsessing over, let's say, a text you got from a friend or partner, ask the person to clarify what they mean. You can avoid lots of lost hours overthinking potential disasters in your mind.
